George Dowden brings power, precision, and classic rock chops to the rhythm section of Fatale along with bassist Ray Jefferson. He cut his teeth in the Los Angeles music scene before becoming a familiar force behind the drums for several San Diego cover and tribute bands, earning a reputation for driving grooves and solid performances.
George developed his signature style the old-school way: learning to be heard on un-miked drums in bands stacked wall-to-wall with Marshall amps. The result is a commanding presence that anchors Fatale’s symphonic rock sound with authority and punch while also being dynamic.
His influences trace back to the giants of 1970s British rock, including Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, along with the anthemic power of 1980s hair metal and now symphonic metal from Europe. A deep passion for symphonic and power metal ultimately led to the creation of Fatale with Stephanie Robles, and George is grateful to share that vision with bandmates who bring the same energy and dedication to the stage.
Sabaton is his guilty pleasure.
